Pretreatment Coordinator
The Clark Regional Wastewater District (“District”) is seeking a Pretreatment Coordinator to replace its retiring coordinator. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly acclaimed special purpose district that has been accredited and nationally recognized by APWA. In addition the District is the administrative lead and member of the Discovery Clean Water Alliance where Clark County, City of Ridgefield, City of Battle Ground and the District have come together to jointly provide regional wastewater transmission and treatment services. The District provides customer-focused, professional services in an environmentally and financially responsible manner. We maintain a strong commitment to all of our customers, including support for local businesses, promoting economic growth and jobs creation. We are an active community partner in Clark County, working to support economic development while protecting water resources. We maintain stable rates, funding and staff, which has allowed the District to remain strong even in challenging economic times. The District is located in Vancouver, which is 15 minutes from downtown Portland and less than two hours from either the coast or the mountains. This is a working manager who will be developing and implementing a pretreatment program protecting the public’s POTWs and conveyance systems of the District and its partner organizations. Qualified candidates must have a degree in environmental science, engineering biology or closely related field and two years of experience in sanitary sewer collection or treatment systems. Salary is $5,062 to $5,475 a month DOE.
