“We are excited to provide the ‘green alternative’ requested by our customers, because it saves time, paper and postage,” Andrews said.  “In the long-term, it will reduce transaction costs, too, which will help keep the District’s rates low.”

NOTE: If you choose to pay your bill via Visa or MasterCard, you will need to enter the credit card information into the system each month. At this time, we are not offering recurring credit card payment options. However, you can sign up for recurring direct debit payments from your checking or savings account. Please see the instructions below.

Sign Up for Direct Debit Payments

To begin participating, complete the following:

  1. Download and fill out the Direct Debit Authorization Form (pdf, 256K).
  2. Submit a voided check from the account you would like to be debited. Without the voided check, we cannot process your request. Please ensure the check is voided when submitting.

Mail the above documents to:
  CRWWD
  PO Box 8979
  Vancouver, WA 98668-8979

Do not send Direct Debit forms with your regular billings, as a third party processes these, and the forms may not be returned to the District. Please contact Customer Service if you require further information  at (360) 750-5876 or send an email to finance@crwwd.com. All customers participating in Direct Debit will receive statements that say Auto Pay - Do Not Pay on the Total Due line. The amount due will be debited from your account on the last business day of the month. Those participating in the Direct Debit program may not make payment arrangements.

Low-Income Senior Citizen Discount Program

The District offers a discounted sewer rate for low-income seniors citizens.  If you are a senior citizen 62 years of age or older, you may qualify for this discounted rate.

Based on the current federal poverty guidelines, a household of any size who is at 125 percent of the guideline, or $17,500, qualifies for a 35% discount. Households between 126 to 200 percent, or $28,000, of the poverty guideline are eligible for a 20% discount.

Besides being 62 years old or older, you must be the owner of the residence and have lived in your residence throughout the year. There are several documents that will need to be brought in to the District for verification for the low-income senior citizen discount:
  • A valid driver’s license or other documentation verifying your age (first-time applicants only).
  • Last year's tax return. If an income tax return was not filed, then a letter of non-filing from the IRS (first-time applicants only).
  • Copy of last year's social security income statement.
The program runs July 1st through June 30th. For additional information on this program, please contact Tammy Clark at (360) 993-8808.
