To begin participating, complete the following:

  1. Download and fill out the Direct Debit Authorization Form (pdf 256K).
  2. Prepare a voided check or a deposit slip from the account you would like to be debited. Without one of these forms as proof of account, we cannot process your request.

Do not send Direct Debit forms with your regular billings, as a third party processes these, and the forms may not be returned to the District. All customers participating in Direct Debit will receive statements that say Auto Pay - Do Not Pay on the Total Due line. The amount due will be debited from your account on the last business day of the month. Those participating in the Direct Debit program may not make payment arrangements.

Low-Income Senior Citizen Discount Program

The District offers a discounted sewer rate for low-income seniors citizens.  If you are a senior citizen 62 years of age or older, you may qualify for this discounted rate. The discounted rate is offered at two different income levels:

  • If your annual income is less than 125% of the federal poverty guidelines per family size, your monthly sewer rate will be $25.00.  ($9.00 monthly savings.)
  • If your annual income is less than $25,000.00, your monthly sewer rate will be $30.00.  ($5.00 monthly savings.)
Besides being 62 years old or older, you must be the owner of the residence and have lived in your residence throughout the year. There are several documents that will need to be brought in to the District for verification for the low-income senior citizen discount:
  • A valid driver’s license or other documentation verifying your age.
  • A tax return to verify income.  Or, if a tax return was not filed, a Letter of Non-Filing from the Internal Revenue Service.  You may request the Letter of Non-Filing from the IRS at 1-800-829-1040.
  • A Social Security benefits statement that confirms the amount of social security income you currently receive.
You are required to submit the qualifying documentation on an annual basis in order to receive the discounted rates.  The program runs July 1st through June 30th.  Failure to submit the necessary documentation each year will result in your rate being changed back to the regular base rate. For additional information on this program, please contact the Finance department at (360) 750-5876 or send an email to finance@crwwd.com.
