Safety

Trenches not properly secured and exceeding safety limits will fail inspection.

Toning Wire

Toning wire not installed, incorrect wire (must be green 12 gauge wire with 45 mil insulation), or improperly stripped and terminated.

Visibility

Pipe and connections obscured by soil or water

Cleanouts

Missing two-way cleanout at the building.
Two-way cleanout has bends/elbows in standpipe, making camera or snake access difficult.
Direction changes between cleanouts exceed 135°, hindering camera or snake access.
Cleanout contain debris, standpipe is damaged, or cap is missing.
Cleanouts in hard surfaces missing an iron casting frame. Install a 6" frame for a 4" lateral.
